Something really is in the water here

Here is the long awaited preg pic per many of your requests. Anyone who actually reads this blog already knows the fun news! For those of you who secretly stalk us... I'm 6 months due in May and it's a boy! Andrew forced me to take some pictures. I'm not very fond of documenting because I don't feel very cute but I guess it's necessary. Everything has been pretty easy. Not sick at all, so we have been really blessed. :) enjoy!

Dress Up

When Keali first got her job as an instructor at Paul Mitchell Hair School, she was so excited when they told her that once a month she had to dress up for "theme day." I never realized why she was so excited until I started going through some old pictures of her growing up. I used to think that Keali's mom just had an obsession with dressing her up in silly costumes and outfits, but now I'm starting to think Keali really didn't mind... at all!

Hopefully more "Theme Days" to come.....

Camping at Cliff Lake

Keali had a few days off so we decided to pack up and head to Montana. A few years ago some friends and I stumbled upon Cliff Lake on a weekend trip to Yellowstone. As you can see in the pics, it's beautiful and fun and that's why we keep coming back. There is a large campsite on a ridge that overlooks the area, but on the lake itself there are only 6 spots. Every time we go there to camp we end up on the ridge, but not this this time! We had a great time kayaking, rope swinging, and eating s'mores. We can't wait to go back!

We camped right on the water. It was awesome!

We went on a little hike that evening hoping to see some animals. Keali's animal calls didn't work cause all we saw were mosquitos.

I had to scout out the trail a few times to make sure we weren't lost.

On our way home we stopped by Mesa Falls, a must see if you are in the area. Keali wants to drop the falls in a wooden barrel next time we go... something she saw on TV.

17 all in a row

Whenever it was time to share scar stories at Scout Camp, I never had anything worthy to brag about. The best thing I had was getting my foot ran over by my dad's car, in the garage when I was 5. Well the day has come when I finally have something to share around the campfire: A few weeks ago I was playing in a soccer game when me and an opposing player jumped up for a head ball. In the air we managed to bonk heads, leaving us both with what I thought was just a headache. After standing up off the turf I took my hand off my face only to see a stream of blood shoot out about 12 inches in front of me. Walking towards the sideline I kept constant pressure hoping to stop the bleeding. At the moment I thought it wasn't going to be too bad, the "official" student medic took a look and quickly turned his head away saying, "I think I'm gonna be sick." After my teammate took a quick gaze, he quietly whispered, "Andrew, hold it up so you're eyebrow won't fall off." After that I knew a simple Band Aid wasn't going to work. So all hope of keeping my perfect medical record was shattered as I went into the ER with a bloody face, and came out with 17 stitches and a $700 bill! Thanks Doc

My 45 minutes in the ER. Keali snuck in to snap a quick pic before the nurse kicked her out. For some reason the nurse wouldn't let her stay in the room...weird!

Contrary to what it looks like, I did not take any pain killers or any substances for that matter. (I wish we had a better close-up)

New Ride

The Hub on his way to campus.

For a while now I have been coveting a darling beach cruiser. So for my birthday Andrew got me one! The catch is that it didn't get here for two months! grr. Well my beloved bike is finally here and it has been so much fun going on bike rides and picnics. Andrew rides his bike to school everyday so its probably not as exciting for him. Now all I need is a basket and a bell and my bike will be complete!
