Uncle Lee

The other weekend we took a trip down to Salt Lake to attend my Uncle Lee's funeral. He passed away after a long battle with cancer. It was the first family funeral I'd ever been too. It was really hard for everyone especially in the months leading up to his passing but I'm happy that he won't have to suffer anymore and that I know we can see him again one day. Even though we were there for such a sad occasion it was so wonderful to see all my family and cousins that I'm so close too. We cried a lot but laughed a lot too. I love my family! Here are a couple pictures from the weekend.

My Grammy and Grandpa that I absolutely adore! My Grammy is in her 80's and looks so good we all covet her amazing skin.

We took a tour of Temple Square with our favorite sister missionary Sister Jessi Cumins. I don't know how we forgot to get a picture with her. She grew up in my cousin's ward in California and I know Jessi from school. From the left is my cousin Courtney, my bestie and cousin Mckenzie (who is touching the belly), my fav Auntie Cindi, and my mom.

Some of my Aunts, Grammy, and my mom doing a Charlie's Angels pose. Hilarious.

Some of the family! My Uncle Scott's house was packed all weekend.

And here I am looking Large outside the LDS chapel we held my Uncle's funeral. I wish they still made chapels so unique like this one. Inside it had stained glass and carvings on the wall of Joseph Smith.
